Comfrey Plant (9cm pot)
£2.50 (each)
Russian comfrey or Quaker comfrey (Symphytum × uplandicum, syn. S. peregrinum auct.). It grows as a perennial herb. It grows to heights of up to 2 meters (6'). Above ground the plant is hairy, but not spiny. Its root system has a pronounced, deep-reaching taproot. It is particular good for cutting and using a mulch to support other plants, plus its leaves can be made into a nutritious compost tea. This is one plant in a 9cm pot.
